Grafana

Connect Grafana to Altertable when you want dashboards over OpenTelemetry logs and traces stored in the lakehouse. Grafana queries Altertable through a SQL-capable data source, and Altertable reads from the built-in opentelemetry catalog.

Before you start

Make sure the target environment has:

• OpenTelemetry enabled and receiving data.
• The Altertable Grafana data source built and installed in your Grafana instance.

Explore logs and traces in Altertable

Altertable also provides logs and traces visualizers in the Explore tab. Use them for live investigation with Lucene-syntax search over ingested OpenTelemetry records.
