Example workflows

After onboarding, use these prompts to work with your data. The agent should inspect available schemas and confirm definitions before querying or creating outputs.

Connect product usage to revenue

Use Product Analytics alongside a connected billing or customer catalog.

Agent prompt
Help me understand which product behaviors are associated with paying customers. Inspect my catalogs, confirm how users map to customer accounts, and agree on a time range. Show the query and explain unmatched identities or missing billing data.

Check the join keys, the number of unmatched records, and whether each account appears at the intended grain. Continue with SQL across catalogs.

Investigate a customer error

Use OpenTelemetry logs and traces with customer or product context.

Agent prompt
Help investigate an error affecting a customer. Ask which customer, service, and time range to inspect. Find relevant logs and traces, correlate them where identifiers are available, and distinguish observed evidence from possible causes.

Verify the service, timestamps, and customer identifiers in the returned records. See Query logs and traces.

Build a weekly review app

Use a data app for a repeatable view of your metrics.

Agent prompt
Build a data app for our weekly business review. Show revenue, active customers, and product usage over time, with a date filter.

Compare displayed metrics with direct SQL results before sharing the app.

Schedule a data check

Use Automation when a question should run repeatedly.

Agent prompt
Help me design a recurring check for an important dataset. Ask which failure matters, how fresh the data should be, and who needs the result. Propose the check, schedule, and notification behavior for review before creating a task.

Test the query or workflow against current data before scheduling it. See Tasks and Notifications.
