Dashboards
Dashboards are collections of Insights, organized into a single view to monitor metrics, track KPIs, and share reports with your team.
What are Dashboards?
Dashboards combine multiple Insights (charts, metrics, tables) into a unified layout:
- Widgets: add charts, text annotations, and grouped sections
- Grid layout: arrange and resize widgets freely
- Variables: filter all widgets at once with shared parameters
- Agents: monitor dashboard changes with Agents
Goals of Dashboards
- Centralize metrics: view multiple KPIs in one place
- Enable monitoring: track real-time changes across Insights
- Automate analysis: let Agents watch for anomalies and trends
- Facilitate sharing: distribute reports to stakeholders
- Provide context: combine related analyses for better understanding
Dashboard Variables
Variables let you parameterize your entire dashboard:
- Shared filters: apply date ranges or segments across all charts
- Dynamic values: switch between different dimensions or metrics
- Variable mapping: connect dashboard variables to individual chart parameters
When you change a variable, all linked widgets update together.
Dashboard Agents
Attach Agents to dashboards to monitor them continuously:
- Trend detection: get notified when metrics change significantly
- Anomaly alerts: receive discoveries when data deviates from patterns
- Scheduled reports: generate periodic summaries
Agents create Discoveries when they find something noteworthy.
