# Integrations

Connect a source provider to sync Markdown and text files from your repositories into Altertable [knowledge](/docs/knowledge.md), so AI agents can reference them.

Open **Settings** → **Integrations** in Altertable to enable a provider:

- **GitHub**
- **GitLab** — GitLab.com (Cloud) or a self-hosted instance

Self-hosted GitLab requires registering your own OAuth application. See [GitLab (self-hosted)](/docs/knowledge/integrations/gitlab-self-hosted.md) for instructions.
