# Share a data app

Share links let people view a data app without logging in to Altertable. The link exposes the app and its query results to anyone who has it. You need permission to manage data apps to create a link.

## Create a share link

1. Open the app and review its queries, visible fields, and results. Confirm that this data is suitable for the audience before creating a link.
2. Open **Share** and create a link. Choose an expiration date or leave the link without an expiration.
3. Copy the link and open it in a logged-out browser session. Check the data and interactions your audience can access.
4. Send the link to the intended audience.

Return to **Share** to delete a link when you want to revoke access. To give someone access to the internal app through their Altertable account, manage [members and roles](/docs/administration/access-control.md).
