# Data apps

Data apps combine queries, charts, tables, and interactions in an application built with an agent. Describe the question and audience, then review and refine the result with your data.

Use them for new interactive reporting. Existing [dashboards](/docs/data-apps/dashboards.md) remain available to view and edit. For a saved query or chart, use [Insights](/docs/data-apps/insights.md).
